GA - Tellus / Netsmart
The state of Georgia is an Open Vendor Hybrid Model, which means agencies providing Medicaid services can use any EVV vendor of their choosing as long as the vendor can send important data elements to the state chosen EVV aggregator. Georgia uses Tellus for EVV aggregation and Billing. Rosemark has a direct integration with Tellus in the state of Georgia for participating Medicaid agencies.
Rosemark will collect scheduling, EVV and billing details and send them to Tellus automatically once every hour. Tellus/GA Medicaid want to see a schedule for all clients in place, and how that schedule is executed by the caregivers (are they on time, late, clocking out consistently, etc.). Agency staff will create ‘Pre-Claims’ in Rosemark when they are ready to submit their billing. Before creating Pre-Claims, agency staff will need to fix any issues on shifts like missing clock ins and outs. This will be done by adding a manual EVV event and identifying why it was missing by choosing a reason from a pre-set list. Agency staff will then ‘Complete’ billable visits in Rosemark, identifying that they are ready to be billed and finalized, which will LOCK THEM in Rosemark to prevent further changes. In the event of an error, Rosemark support can help you make changes. These Pre-Claims will be sent to Tellus. In the Tellus portal agency staff will be able to further make changes if necessary and then finish billing.
Agency Configuration
In order to sync your agency details correctly with Tellus / Netsmart we will need your Medicaid provider ID. This is supplied to you by the state when you are approved to provide Medicaid services. First go to the main Rosemark File Menu > Configuration > Medicaid. Fill out your Medicaid Provider ID, and set your ICD code number to 10. Move on to identifying Medicaid service types.
Identifying Medicaid service types
Each Medicaid program you are registered under and each procedure code you provide services for (and bill for) will need to be set up in Rosemark. You’ll also want to set up payer specific service types.
Go to File > Configuration > Service Types and Rates.
Here you'll need to set up service types codes that show three pieces of information:
- Payer
Example: GDCH
- Type of care being provided
Example: Source, CCSP, ICWP, COMP
- Procedure Code
Example: T1019, T1019:TF, T2025
Here is an example of a complete service type that is ready to sync to Tellus / Netsmart:
GDCH - SOURCE - PSSX - T1019:TF

Tellus / Netsmart Registration and Training
You will also need to register and complete a training session via the Tellus training portal. You can find the Tellus Training Center here and you are required to attend the EVV Provider Portal training. This link will direct you to the registration, this is a zoom webinar that is held on the first and third Wednesday of each month. Normally the webinar lasts for thirty minutes. We strongly encourage you to review the other training resources available as we are limited in the amount of support we can provide in the Tellus Portal.
