CRM Contact Record

CRM Contact Record

Within a contact’s record there are multiple tabs to access different pieces of information and allow you to manage the contact as part of your account. As part of the general record, you can choose to send the contact a personal email or research the contact.

Contact Info tab

In the Contact Info tab, you will see all of the system-generated and user-defined fields as well as tags and positions and be able to update their values. In this tab, you will also have the ability to unsubscribe/re-subscribe the contact and mark their status as Active or Inactive.

CRM / Activities tab

In the CRM / Activities tab, you can not only view the activities and interactions you/your organization has had with the contact, but also view their lead scoring totals, add opportunities and more. You will learn more about lead scoring and opportunities in an upcoming course.

Attribution tab

In the Attribution tab, you can view the channels and sources in which the contact has interacted with your website, storefront, and/or social media. Attribution shows which external website brought this contact to your network. Attribution shows you which campaigns your contact is interacting with in a list view. You will learn more about tracking attribution in an upcoming course.

Groups tab

In the Groups tab, you will see the group(s) the contact is in as well as manage their shared access permissions (if you are the Main Account Owner or a shared access power user). Please note that the only group(s) you will see on this page are the ones that you have access to. The contact may be in other group(s), but if you do not have access to those then you will not see them listed.

Social tab

In the Social tab, you can connect the contact’s record in your GreenRope account to their Facebook, LinkedIn and/or Twitter account(s). By connecting the two accounts, you will be able to track when the contact interacts with your social media accounts (if they are integrated into your GreenRope account which you will learn more about in an upcoming course).
