Adding a New Task

You can assign specific tasks to specific people within your projects. This will help you and your project assignees specify how their time is spent on a particular project.

Exercise 3E: Adding a New Task

  1. Open up your GreenRope account

  2. Click on the "Guide Me" button

  3. Complete the “Adding a new task” exercise

For reference, here are the steps to add a new task:

  1. Open up your GreenRope account

  2. In the group drop-down list, select the group your email template is saved in

  3. Hover over Apps

  4. Select Projects

  5. Click on the Project Name

  6. Click Add Task

  7. Enter the task description

  8. Assign the task to one of the project managers

  9. Enter a start and end date/time

  10. Enter budgeted hours

  11. Decide whether to send an email notification to the task assignee and/or an email reminder for the task assignee at a specific time before the task is due.

  12. Click Save
