Forums

Forums are an easy way to encourage interaction between members of a group. You can set up each topic to be either a public or a private topic. Public topics will be visible on the website that you build with GreenRope. Public forums are accessed on your website and require the user to confirm their identity by clicking a link in an email they receive.

Creating a Forum:

Exercise 5F: Creating a Forum

1. Open up your GreenRope account

2. Make sure you are in the group you created in the Implementation course (Exercise 4A)

3. Click on the "Guide Me" button

4. Complete the “Create a Forum” interactive exercise

   • Create a new forum topic

                                                         

For reference, here are the steps to create a forum:

1. Open up your GreenRope account

2. In the group drop-down list, select the group your email template is saved in

3. Hover over Apps

4. Select Forums

5. Click “New Create New Forum Topic”

6. Enter a topic name

7. Click “Create”

8. Click on the name of your new Topic

9. Click “Post New Message”

10. Use the editor to create your new forum topic post

11. Decide if you would like the post to be sent to everyone in the group via email

12. Click “Post”
