DIRECTOR'S LETTER

A few years back I asked my now 7-year-old daughter what she wanted to be when she grew up, she said with a straight face “a ladybug.” I am glad we live in a world where my children, both my boys and my girls, have more access to opportunity and face fewer barriers than any other period in history. Even though she may not ever become a ladybug, I am glad my daughters are learning from strong women role models like their mother, teachers, and others in the community, to not doubt themselves and realize the only limit to their dreams is their imagination. This month’s chamber luncheon is a special luncheon focused on the powerful role and impact women leadership can have in the workforce and in business. We are very fortunate to have Dr. Susan Madsen from Utah Valley University coming to present on Utah Women and Leadership: Status, Challenges, and Opportunities. Dr. Madsen has spent her career studying, researching, and writing on this subject and we’ll have the pleasure of learning from her years of experience. Join us this month as we celebrate Women in Business.

A smile. It’s the universal sign for confidence, joy and friendship. A warm smile has the power to lift a weary soul. Smiling is so universal it even has its own punctuation. :-) With all that is riding on a confident smile, it’s no wonder why Trisity Andra, owner of Lux Teeth Whitening, enjoys what she does so much.
