Personally, attending networking meetings has helped me grow professionally and learn about various industries. It's not necessarily about the immediate return, but more about building those valuable connections. As you grow your network and foster these relationships, people will remember to use or refer when your there is a need for your goods or services. On the flip side, when you need to use their services, it feels good knowing who to call. While I struggle with names after a networking meeting, I remember faces & stories. So get your face out there & tell your story! (:
