8901 Wisconsin Ave

We are so excited to be participating in the Adaptive Sports Expo again this year! This event is organized by the WRNMMC Department of Rehabilitation, and showcases various activities available to patients, including salsa dancing.

Soldiers Who Salsa will be set up in the main lobby of the America Building, providing information and dance demonstrations throughout the day. Interested patients are encouraged to sign up for classes that day so that they will be notified when the next series of classes officially start in the coming weeks.

These activities are open to veterans injured in combat who are currently undergoing rehabilitation at WRNMMC and enrolled in a PT/OT program. If you or someone you know is currently a patient at WRNMMC, please encourage them to join us!

We look forward to a great turnout, and a fantastic summer salsa series soon!

Thank you for your continued support!

Today was a HUGE <dance> step for our organization: classes officially started in Bethesda, MD at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC)! Huge thanks to our lead instructor, Sherry Harris-Morganstein for coordinating the effort to get it off the ground there! Today marked week one of eight - if you missed this one, be sure to come next week!

Classes at WRNMMC are open to patients in a PT or OT as part of an incredible group of activities offered through their Adaptive Sports Program. At the helm of the Adaptive Sports program is Harvey Naranjo, who enthusiastically supported bringing our dance program to the Wounded Warriors there. Thank you, Harvey!
